Jesse Montero

Jesse brings a deep commitment to public access, literacy, and inclusive learning through his leadership at the Yonkers Public Library. He is passionate about building strong community partnerships that expand opportunity and enrich the lives of Yonkers residents.

Wilda Mejias has devoted over 40 years to making a difference in the Yonkers community. Known for her warmth and commitment, Wilda has been an active member of CPCY for more than 20 years and currently serves as Secretary. Her experience spans work with Catholic Charities and leadership as Executive Director of a nonprofit supporting Latino communities, where she built partnerships and connected neighbors to essential resources.

Joseph Cooke leads the Yonkers Extension Center of Westchester Community College, where he has spent over two decades expanding access to education, support services, and opportunities for a diverse student body. A dedicated community partner, he focuses on lifelong learning, equity, and collaboration across institutions in Yonkers and beyond.

Kelly Chiarella is dedicated to helping Yonkers’ older adults live full, independent lives. As Director of the City of Yonkers Office for the Aging since 2014, she collaborates with local organizations and city partners to connect residents aged 60 and over with nutrition, case management, housing, and transportation services. Kelly’s decades of public service reflect her passion for building a caring community, and she brings this same spirit to her role as CPCY Treasurer.
